Stop Gaining Weight And Learn To Count The Calories At Restaurant Meals
Every time I eat out, it matters that the meal should be special, considering that I don’t eat out often. You already have gone through facts on shaving calories at restaurants.
Count The Calories At The Restaurant
In truth, when you pay at exorbitant restaurants, you do want to avoid paying exorbitantly for undressed salads or the mere steamed vegetables? If you don’t, there is no other way to get over the quandary of too many calories when dining out?
These seven tips will help you get sensible calories out of restaurant meals, even as you have your favorites.
1. Avoid Super Sizing
Remember, to stick to smaller sizes rather than what is already too big. Stop ordering big sizes and you can save money. Try to order only a single dinner and keep room for extra plate. Generally, restaurants agree to this for a couple of dollars, and they are well worth it. Try to share the meal with a friend and split the cost straight in two. You can try ordering from the so called “appetizer” menu also. For instance, have three entrees in two people, stick to one dessert and then share the whole thing because that is plenty of food!
2. Skip the Bread and Rolls
A lot of family restaurants provide a bread basket with your meal. Avoid it unless it’s fresh baked loaf or something very special. Don’t binge on ordinary bread since you’re paying a high price for that meal. Ask the waiter or steward to take it away if you can’t resist, but as an adult, you should try to. Just don’t put a roll on your plate. If you try it once, believe me you would feel more confident and powerful. If finally you cannot say no to rolls, avoid the butter. Have the bread or roll just plain. Or opt for whole grain bread instead.
3. Avoid Ordering Drinks
Aerated drinks can cost a lot. For a few pennies you get fattened syrup and carbonated water while restaurants pretend to be doing a favor for asking $1.29 for a huge 64 ounce soda. Save this money. Opt for the skipping the drink. Rather ask for water or try to have diet drinks. Say no to “fat pop.”
4. Chew More and Don’t Eat Too Fast!
There is no rush? Enjoy the meal slowly, relish the moment, lick all those flavors. Identify and be in touch hunger signals, understand what you want to eat and recognize what satisfies you signs of hunger. You can never have a satisfied meal by gobbling food in a few minutes. With every bit, note the number of times you are chewing before swallowing. It is once or twice? Try to chew your food and make your body happier. The digestion starts in the mouth, and you will also get more pleasure if you chew slowly.
5. Reduce Visible Fat and Skin
I know, that most of you love the skin–of course you do, since it is pure fat, it tastes awesome. To get leaner, you have to avoid eat fat. So you choose. Always avoid the chicken skin and stay away from fat hanging off a steak, no matter how nice it tastes. Pick what you want more, for a few moments of pleasure and yummy taste, it can lead to months of carrying around 40 lbs? This theory is in contrast with the low carb belief that fat is good, but remember that carbs are evil, and if you want to maintain an 80 pound weight loss for about a couple of decades, without dieting then stay away from all visible fat or skin. That should is enough said.
6. Request for a Doggie Bag
Do this At the Beginning of Meal. As your food is served, ask for a doggie bag and take some food home for tomorrow. Quantities serve in the US restaurants is always huge. Don’t eat it all. With a doggie bag you can earn an extra lunch for the same meal.
